Why Did He Decide To Become a Dentist?

Dr. Patel has always enjoyed helping people, and dentistry appealed to him because there is a lot of instant gratification compared to other healthcare fields. In a single appointment, he can often get a patient out of pain or transform their smile, renewing their confidence and oral health right before their eyes. He also likes the interpersonal aspect, in that he gets plenty of time to work one-on-one with his patients and build longstanding relationships.

Where Did He Study Dentistry?

Dr. Patel started his dental career as an assistant before eventually graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in order to improve his treatment planning and clinical skills.

Since finishing dental school, he has spent a lot of time studying digital dentistry, which improves the accuracy of treatment, and he has also published research articles in the Oklahoma Dental Association’s trade journal. These days, he frequently attends advanced training courses provided by Spear Education.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Does He Like to Do?

Dr. Patel and his wife, Binita, are recently married, and one of their favorite things to do is spend time with his young nieces. He also enjoys playing all kinds of sports and trying different cuisines.
